The sections below set out our processing and dispatch timelines, the carriers we use, and how to track your parcel.
1. Where we deliver
We currently ship to all addresses within the United Kingdom. Standard shipping is free on every order, with no minimum spend. Estimated delivery times may vary slightly depending on your delivery postcode and on factors outside our control such as carrier schedules.
2. Where your order ships from
Bennett & Clarke is operated from The Netherlands by Peak Global Group, but our orders are dispatched directly from our fulfilment centre in Ningbo, China, to your delivery address in the United Kingdom. We do not ship from the United Kingdom or from The Netherlands. The 6–12 business-day estimate already accounts for this international route.
3. Order processing time
Orders placed before 6:00 PM GMT (Monday to Friday) are processed and prepared for dispatch within 2–3 business days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted as business days. During particularly busy periods, promotional campaigns or seasonal peaks, processing may take slightly longer; if this happens we will keep you informed.
4. Shipping rates
Free standard shipping is provided on every order placed for delivery within the United Kingdom. There is no minimum spend, and no additional shipping options are currently offered.
5. Customs and import charges
All UK orders are dispatched on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. Any customs duty, import tax or VAT applicable to the parcel is therefore already included in the price you see at checkout. Couriers will not request payment of further fees on delivery, and no separate customs invoice will follow.
6. Estimated delivery timeframes
Once an order has been processed, the following timeline applies:
- Processing time: 2–3 business days (Monday to Friday)
- Transit time: 4–9 business days (Monday to Friday)
- Total estimated delivery time: 6–12 business days
- Order cut-off time: 6:00 PM (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time, London
Delivery times are estimates only and can be affected by factors outside our control, including customs inspections, courier delays and severe weather. We are not liable for delays caused by such factors.
7. Order tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing a tracking link. You can use it at any time to check the current status of your parcel and the projected delivery window.
8. Shipping restrictions
We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses or to military addresses such as APO, FPO or DPO. In addition, certain items may be subject to specific UK regulations or carrier limitations that affect delivery eligibility, in which case we will inform you before processing the order.
9. Failed deliveries and returned parcels
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful — for example because the address is incorrect, no one is available to take receipt, or the parcel is otherwise refused — the carrier may return the parcel to us. Where this happens we will contact you to arrange re-dispatch. Additional shipping charges may apply in such cases.
10. Inspection on receipt and damaged or lost parcels
We ask that you inspect your parcel as soon as it arrives and check that the contents are complete and undamaged. If the parcel arrives damaged, items are missing, or the parcel is reported as lost in transit, please contact our customer-service team straight away at info@bennettandclarke.co.uk. We will liaise with the carrier and work with you towards a swift resolution.
11. Returns
This Shipping Policy covers how your order reaches you. The full process for returning items, including your statutory rights and the China return address, is set out in our Refund Policy. Please contact our customer-service team before sending anything back, so we can confirm the specific return instructions for your order.
12. Updates to this Shipping Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in our operations, in carrier arrangements or in regulatory requirements (for example Google Shopping Ads policy). The most recent version will always be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
